The entire shape of the city emblem embodies the first Korean letter of Yeongcheon. The upper green shape contains the image of Bohyeon-san (mountain) and the blue part at the bottom represents Geumho-gang (river), and the red oval in the middle symbolizes the passionate image of Yeongcheon citizenst
